Film Production

The students of the digital film-making course and documentary film-making workshop themselves make short feature and documentary films under the guidance of experienced teachers.

Besides, the students often get involved in Tanvir Mokammel’s professional film works, as thirty students of the Bangladesh Film Institute were involved in the shooting and sound works of “Jibondhuli” (The Drummer), directed by Tanvir Mokammel which was hugely beneficial for the students to gather practical experiences of how a professional film unit works.

Besides Bangladesh Film Institute also produces films like the documentary “The Japanese Wife” (Japani Bodhu), which received appreciation home and abroad.
